Bruce Hamilton


When not working on Dental BlackBook, Dr. Bruce Hamilton is also an owner and CEO of a well established start-up dental practice near downtown Milwaukee that has placed him as one of the premier dentists in the area. Through his attendance of various practice management and practice building seminars across the country including Las Vegas Institute for Advance Dental Studies, he brings a vast knowledge base relative to the business of dentistry as well as the clinical aspects.  He has worked with multiple corporate dental groups including acting as the Director of Dental Service for Quad Graphics during his twenty-year dental career. He continuously strives to elevate all facets of dentistry by mentoring young dentist in the area.

Andrew Welles


Dr. Andrew Welles is a recent graduate from the Marquette University School of Dentistry Class of 2015.  What he lacks in years, he makes up for in experience. As the President of his dental class, a Trustee within his local dental component and a National Leader within the American Student Dental Association, he has been heavily involved within dentistry throughout his brief career. Andrew currently practices as a general dentist in Madison, Wisconsin at a community clinic providing comprehensive care to an under-served population. He has a true passion for his profession and is invested in the continual growth of dentistry.

Andy Lehmkuhl

Andy has had extensive experience working in an operational setting as well as consulting on dentistry, with a key focus on Mergers & Acquisitions.  He has received recognition as a '40 Under 40' for work and achievements in the field of dentistry by the National Association of Certified Valuation Analysts; Board of Directors for the Association of Army Dentistry; Board of Directors for the Wisconsin Dental Association Foundation; Member of the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants; Previous Member of the Institute of Business Appraisers; Experience Transitioning over 150 Dental Practices and over 14 years of Dental Related Speaking Engagements.

Kara Tess

Kara has 15+ years of Human Resource experience. She has worked for corporate organizations, small businesses, and has provided HR consulting services to dental practices throughout the Midwest, with a heavy focus on recruitment of Dentists and Specialists. Kara has received recognition by NAVCA as a ’40 Under 40’ honoree for her accomplishments within the business side of dentistry. She frequently speaks at and attends various industry and dental school events, sharing her passion for helping people accomplish their career goals.

Noelle Hille


Noelle has over a decade of clinical dental hygiene experience. When she is not seeing her own patient’s she works with Dental Teams across the country as a Dental Hygiene Coach. She specializes in the development of periodontal and preventive strategies to help Dental Teams function at their highest level. In addition to her clinical experience, she worked as the Dental Hygiene Development Coordinator for the largest dental group in Wisconsin. Her responsibilities included the recruitment, retention and mentorship of over 75 hygienists. She has spoken at WDA events, Patterson Education Days and in front of the Minnesota Dental Hygiene Association. She currently serves as the Southeast Component President of the Wisconsin Dental Hygiene Association.

Marshall Watry

With over 10 years of experience in the medical, dental and vet sector Marshall brings the back office knowledge that he applies every day to his clients to Dental Black Book.  As a member of the AICPA, WICPA, Institute of Dental CPA’s and the National Society of Certified Healthcare Business Consultants he is committed to the healthcare industry and helping private business owners grow successful practices and navigate the future challenges.

Alan Hathaway

A creative technologist with more than 15 years of experience leading a successful interactive agency, Alan started his career in advertising but eagerly segued into website design and development when the opportunity arose. He’s had his thumb on the pulse of technology ever since, managing and launching countless websites and web applications while spearheading a number of tech startups. As technology lead for the Dental BlackBook initiative, he plays a pivotal role in the planning, development and implementation of the web application. Whatever the project, Alan embraces a never-stop-learning philosophy while championing his mission to improve human interaction, whatever the format.

Jake Weiss

Jake began his journey in marketing communications as an art director and ascended the ranks to take the helm of several creative departments. During this time his prowess for integrated marketing became increasingly apparent. Today, he builds and designs award-winning brands that incorporate the most appropriate marketing mix for clients everywhere — all while continuing to move the Dental BlackBook brand forward. Jake’s portfolio boasts campaigns that have earned him a place in industry publications such as Graphic Design USA and the Big Book of Layouts, as well as numerous gold and silver awards from industry organizations.

Will McKinley

Serving as chief legal counsel for Dental BlackBook, Will has significant experience representing dental practices and other medical specialty groups across the State of Wisconsin on a host of legal issues, including practice sale/acquisitions, employment matters, leases, and other general business issues.  He has previously served as in-house counsel for a major hospital system in Northeast Wisconsin, and presently serves on its board of directors. He has been nominated for numerous awards, most recently receive the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce’s “Future 15” young professional award. He appears regularly on local radio providing legal commentary and analysis, and is involved with a number of non-profit organizations
